Home Health Aide

Responsibilities include assisting with essential daily living skills such as bathing, feeding, toileting, lifting/Positioning, and dressing, while also providing supervision to ensure the safety of the special needs family member. The role also requires positive interaction and effective communication with the family and staff, along with preparing written reports and documentation.

Requirements vary by level, but generally involve post-Secondary education and/Or training combined with experience in relevant fields like special education or nursing, with minimum experience ranging from two years up to 2-5 years working with special needs individuals. Higher levels prefer or require an associate's or bachelor's degree and desirable certifications like lpn or rn.
