- Overview A warm, joyful, and highly engaged family on the Upper East Side is seeking an exceptional full-time nanny to care for their two young daughters (ages 5 and 3).
- This is a collaborative, long-term opportunity for a proactive, education-minded caregiver who brings positive energy, creativity, and a genuine love for children into the home.
- The family spends the summer months (late June through August) in the Hamptons, where the role transitions to a live-in, Monday–Friday position (private room provided, candidate goes home on weekends).
- The ideal candidate is flexible, team-oriented, and excited to become a valued part of a dynamic, loving household.
- Schedule is 7:30am - 7:30pm.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for two young children Foster a nurturing, joyful environment centered around learning, creativity, and exploration (music, art, play-based engagement) Partner closely with hands-on parents to support consistent structure, boundaries, and positive communication Plan and facilitate enriching activities, outings, and playdates Transport children to and from school and activities Prepare healthy, balanced meals for the children (family values nutritious eating habits) Assist with light household tasks related to the children (laundry, tidying, dishes) and step in collaboratively when needed Travel occasionally with the family, as needed
Qualifications
Experience in teaching is a plus Proactive, organized, and confident in creating structure while maintaining a fun environment A true team player who values partnership with parents Positive, energetic, and brings a “can-do” attitude to each day Invested in long-term growth and becoming an integral part of the family
Requirements
