Per Diem Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher is responsible for reporting to the school early to review materials, maintaining communication with coordinators and principals, and managing a positive learning environment by implementing lesson plans using various instructional methods. Responsibilities also include enforcing school policies, reporting student incidents, and potentially covering additional duties assigned to absent staff.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or two years of college, along with satisfactory cori clearance, and are encouraged to have an education major. Successful applicants should have experience in urban schools, working with special needs students and english language learners, and demonstrate expertise in classroom management.
