Clinic Nurse

The clinic nurse provides general medical care to patients under the direction of clinicians at the student health center, which includes gathering medical history, measuring vital signs, and administering treatments within the scope of licensure. Essential duties also involve managing prescriptions, maintaining supply inventory, and ensuring compliance with necessary certifications like bls and osha.

Minimum qualifications require at least one year of experience as a nurse in a clinical setting, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and a current mississippi registered nurse license. Preferred qualifications include additional experience, acls certification, or a bsn degree.
