Companion/Buddy for People with Disabilities

The role involves building long-Lasting, one-On-One relationships with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting them in their favorite hobbies and activities like special olympics. Responsibilities include assisting clients in developing independence through skills such as budgeting, socializing, shopping, using public transportation, and ensuring their safety and well-Being with dignity and respect.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with a strong passion for supporting individuals with disabilities. Essential personal attributes include patience, empathy, and dedication to fostering an environment where clients can thrive.
