Registered Behavior Technician / Behavior Technician Academy (School Based)

Registered behavior technicians work directly with students in the classroom, following established service plans to reduce challenging behaviors, increase functional skills, and foster independence. This involves implementing behavior therapy techniques, collaborating with teachers, documenting interventions, and collecting behavior data.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and either be a registered behavior technician (Rbt) certified or willing to pursue certification, which bayada will pay for. Educational requirements include an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, 48 college credits including specific math and english courses, or passing the parapro praxis assessment.
