Elementary School Counselor

The counselor promotes student success by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program focused on academic achievement, social-Emotional development, and career/College readiness through direct services and collaboration. Essential functions include planning postsecondary options, managing academic planning, delivering classroom instruction, analyzing student data for interventions, and providing short-Term counseling and referrals.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree and three years of experience in counseling or advisement, along with an alabama school counselor license and the ability to clear a background check. Desired qualifications include a master's degree in school counseling and experience with distance learning.
