Before and After School Program- Site Assistant - CUMBERLAND AND ATLANTIC COUNTY LOCATIONS

This role supports the ymca's mission by providing direction for children in the before and afterschool program, implementing curriculum, and focusing on building achievement, belonging, and relationships among youth and families. Essential functions include supervising children, ensuring safety through emergency procedure implementation, and maintaining positive communication with parents and school staff.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a high school diploma and be at least 18 years old, with required certifications in cpr, first aid, aed, and child abuse prevention within 30 days of hire. Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting and the ability to develop positive relationships with diverse populations are preferred.
