Essential duties and responsibilities
- Training strategy & delivery
- Design and lead a best-in-class new hire orientation that drives alignment, engagement, and clarity from day one
- Develop and deliver leadership development programs for supervisors, managers, and directors focused on accountability, performance, and people leadership
- Create and facilitate engaging, high-impact training sessions across HR, compliance, safety, and culture
- Compliance & safety training
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance training programs, including clinical regulations, HR policies, workplace safety, and patient-care standards
- Ensure all training aligns with healthcare regulatory requirements and organizational policies
- Maintain audit-ready training records and reporting at all times
- Learning needs assessment & program development
- Partner with department leaders and HRBPs to assess training needs and build targeted, role-specific learning solutions
- Continuously evaluate and evolve training programs based on organizational priorities, risk areas, and performance gaps
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence
- Systems, reporting & analytics
- Own and manage the HealthStream Learning Management System (LMS), including assigning required training, building curricula, and maintaining course content
- Track and report on key metrics including training completion, knowledge retention, leadership effectiveness, and training ROI
- Collaborate with HRIS and Benefits teams to integrate training data into workforce dashboards and reporting
- Leadership coaching & support
- Serve as a coach and resource to supervisors and managers on performance management, employee development, and skill-building
- Reinforce leadership expectations through practical tools, frameworks, and real-time coaching
- Support organizational initiatives that strengthen leadership capability and consistency
- Culture, inclusion & engagement
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through intentional, well-designed training initiatives
- Embed organizational values, patient care standards, and culture into all training programs
- Help shape a workplace where accountability and respect are the standard
- Cross-Functional hr support
- Serve as a backup resource for employee relations matters, including investigations, coaching, and documentation support
- Provide support in recruitment efforts as needed, including interview training and onboarding alignment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in training, learning & development, or HR within a healthcare or regulated environment
- Experience designing and delivering leadership development programs
- Strong knowledge of compliance training requirements in healthcare settings
- Experience with LMS platforms, preferably HealthStream
- Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to influence leaders and drive behavior change, not just deliver content
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
