Teacher Assistant

The teacher assistant will assist in providing supervision and instruction to ensure a safe and therapeutic classroom environment, which includes conducting activities, preparing materials, and implementing treatment plans for individual students. Duties also involve maintaining classroom records, nurturing children through direct care, and assuming the classroom teacher's duties when necessary.

A high school diploma is required for this position, and experience working in an education or childcare setting is preferred. Candidates must be able to physically restrain a child as taught by the agency and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
