Special Education Academic Tutor (Literacy & Math)

The tutor will provide personalized, one-On-One in-Home instruction tailored to the student's individualized education plan (Iep), focusing on foundational literacy and math skills. Key duties include conducting initial assessments, delivering structured lessons, implementing behavior support strategies, and communicating progress to caregivers.

Candidates must have experience working with students with autism and significant learning needs, specifically supporting foundational literacy (Phonics, blending) and math concepts. Proficiency in using multisensory teaching strategies and implementing behavior intervention techniques is strongly preferred.
