Job description
Little Flower School in Bethesda Maryland is hiring an Office Assistant/Nurse for the 2026-27 school year. This role will fulfill office duties and will be fully trained to manage medical tech duties. This role will report to the Principal and the hourly pay rate will be $20.00 to $26.00 per hour Please forward your resume and letter of interest to: mmirkow@lfschool.org
Responsibilities
- include, but are not limited to:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
- The above is not all inclusive and the position’s duties may be expanded or modified at the discretion of the principal.
- High School/Trade School degree preferred
