After School Program Instructor (WCC Elementary Schools)

Program instructors are expected to facilitate classrooms of 10-20 students, create engaging activities, and provide homework and academic support based on student skill levels and state educational standards. Duties also include maintaining accurate attendance records, reporting incidents timely, and actively participating in all required training and meetings.

Candidates must possess either an associate degree or higher, 48 college units, or pass the instructional aide exam, alongside passing a criminal background check and tb test clearance. A key requirement is previous experience working with children, the ability to independently lead and supervise up to 22 students, and a commitment to work the entire academic school year.
