Bilingual Home Visitor, Weekdays, The Lourie Center - Head Start

The bilingual home visitor will assist in developing instructional materials for parents, conduct parent interviews, family needs assessments, and developmental screenings for children. Responsibilities also include providing guidance on home safety, nutrition, discipline, and coordinating necessary community and medical appointments for families.

A preferred qualification includes an associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood, social work, or a related field, along with a minimum of a home-Based cda credential or equivalent coursework. Candidates must possess a driver's license with reliable transportation and ideally have over one year of experience working with young children and families in a home setting, with bilingual proficiency in spanish and english being preferred.
