Assistant Teacher Lower Elementary - EAEC 2026/27

The assistant guide provides vital support to the lead guide by assisting in instruction, managing the classroom environment to foster independence, and modeling respectful behavior consistent with montessori principles. Key duties include supervising students during various activities, assisting with material preparation, and maintaining classroom order and attractiveness.

Candidates must possess a minimum of an associate’s degree, with a bachelor’s degree being highly preferred, along with at least two years of classroom experience, preferably in an urban setting. Essential qualifications include a demonstrated commitment to anti-Biased/Anti-Racist principles, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work cooperatively under direction.
