Core responsibilities
The registered behavior technician will work directly with students in the classroom, implementing established service plans, applying behavior therapy techniques, and collaborating with teachers to support student success. Responsibilities also include documenting interventions, tracking progress toward goals, and collecting behavior data as specified.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be a registered behavior technician (Rbt) certified and possess at least one year of rbt experience, in addition to being 18 years of age. A minimum education requirement includes an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, 48 college credits including specific math and english courses, or passing the parapro praxis assessment.
