Key duties include developing and managing ieps, modifying curriculum, tracking student progress using data, and communicating regularly with families.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education or a related field and possess or be eligible for a valid washington state teaching certification with a special education endorsement. Strong skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and collaboration are necessary, with prior experience in various special education settings being preferred.
