Assistant Teacher Substitute

The substitute assistant teacher provides support to special education teachers by preparing lessons, teaching students, and offering direct support assistance, while also maintaining participant cleanliness, well-Being, and facilitating daily living skills development. Responsibilities also include collecting and charting data, administering medication under policy, and applying emergency first aid and cpr procedures when necessary.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or ged and be at least 18 years old, along with a valid driver's license. A public service license with a 'v' endorsement is required during initial employment, which oak hill facilitates, to operate student transportation vehicles.
