HEAL High School - Nursing Pathway

The apprentice participates in supervised learning experiences to develop fundamental patient care technician skills, including patient safety, mobility support, and basic patient hygiene, while practicing tasks through job shadowing and guided practice under nursing staff direction. This role requires demonstrating progressive competency attainment by completing required role-Based validations and adhering to safety standards while observing and reporting patient needs to licensed staff.

Candidates must be actively enrolled at heal high school, have completed their sophomore year, and be at least 16 years old. A minimum of 32 hours of prior hospital-Based learning is required, and certification in basic life support or cpr must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
