Childcare Assistant - Day Care Center - FT Days

The childcare assistant will support the teacher in caring for children aged 6 weeks to 9 years, implementing programs designed around their developmental needs. Responsibilities include supervising children, ensuring physical safety, recognizing and meeting physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs, and assisting with planned activities.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with mandatory annual continuing education hours in early childhood education and required child abuse mandatory reporter training. One to two years of previous work experience with children or schooling in early childhood education is highly desirable.
