Childcare Assistant - Day Care Center - Full time-Days

The childcare assistant will support the teacher in caring for children aged 6 weeks to 9 years, implementing programs designed around their developmental needs. Responsibilities include assisting with planned activities, recognizing and meeting physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs, and ensuring the physical safety of all children.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and candidates must complete state mandatory continuing education hours in early childhood education annually. One to two years of previous work experience with children or schooling in early childhood education is highly desirable.
