Behavior Aide

The role involves working one-On-One with an assigned student to meet goals outlined in their individualized education plan (Iep), providing customized behavior support and teaching essential life skills. Responsibilities include implementing behavior support plans, recording data, utilizing intervention strategies, and ensuring student safety through supervision and crisis management techniques when necessary.

A high school diploma is required for this position, with experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs being preferred. Candidates must be physically capable of moving swiftly, bending, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more to assist students.
