About the role

Campus Life Ambassadors are responsible for mentoring incoming freshmen, sophomores, and transfer students to facilitate their transition into college life. This includes offering guidance on campus resources and leading small group discussions to foster community building.

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic students to serve as Campus Life Ambassadors for the upcoming academic year. Campus Life Ambassadors play a crucial role in guiding incoming freshmen, sophomore and transfer students in facilitating their transition into college.

Responsibilities

  • Mentorship - serve as a mentor and resource for incoming freshmen offering guidance on extra-curricular opportunities, campus resources and navigating Bradley's environment.
  • Group Facilitation - lead small group discussions and activities during sessions to foster community building and peer connections among incoming students.
  • Collaboration - work collaboratively with fellow CLAs to ensure a seamless transition experience for incoming freshmen.

Qualifications

  • Current full time Bradley student with good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
  • Demonstrates leadership experience in ability to lead small group discussions and activities
  • Enthusiasm for Bradley University and a genuine desire to help incoming freshmen succeed
  • Reliable and responsible with a commitment to fulfilling the assigned responsibilities and duties
  • There will be a required training prior to the end of the spring semester that will be approximately 1-2 hours. Following this training, you will be required to be on campus for final training and the beginning of Welcome Week starting on August 21st.

This is a federally-funded opportunity to earn "spending money" through part-time, on-campus employment.
