High School Spanish Teacher - Part Time: To Begin August 2026

The Leffell School is a cutting-edge K–12 Jewish independent school serving more than 850 students on two campuses in Westchester County, NY, 30 minutes north of New York City. We are seeking a High School Spanish Teacher to begin in August 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Overview

We are looking for an outstanding and dedicated High School Spanish Teacher who can teach on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is someone who will engage and inspire students, foster strong communication with parents and colleagues, and contribute to our mission of developing students to become responsible, honest, compassionate, and respectful citizens.

Responsibilities

  • Create dynamic lessons at all levels that engage students
  • Enable students to achieve high levels of proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
  • Teach about the cultures of Spanish speaking countrie

Qualifications

  • Past high school teaching experience preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred
