New graduate nurses will provide direct patient care aligned with professional standards and organizational values within the med/Surg track of the shine residency program. Residents participate in a comprehensive 12-Week orientation, ongoing clinical training, classroom sessions, and online learning over a year to strengthen their nursing practice.

Requirements summary

Candidates must be expected to graduate from an accredited nursing school in spring/Summer 2026 or have less than 6 months of rn experience. Maine state registered nurse (Rn) licensure, or the ability to obtain it after passing the nclex, is required.
