Assistant Teacher HS

This role involves assisting the lead teacher in a head start classroom by implementing a child-Centered curriculum, addressing challenging behaviors, and documenting children's progress for positive outcomes across all developmental domains. The assistant teacher must also actively collaborate with the teacher and staff to establish positive relationships and partnerships with families.

Candidates must meet specific educational requirements, such as holding a cda credential or being enrolled to complete one within a year, or possessing a bachelor's degree in early childhood education with related credits. Prior head start or pre-School experience is preferred, along with intermediate computer literacy and excellent communication skills.
