The family service advocate partners with families to promote children's healthy development and school readiness by utilizing family engagement principles, providing targeted support to vulnerable families, and enhancing family well-Being through individualized support and group experiences. Essential functions include promoting positive family environments, coordinating services to meet self-Identified goals, fostering community among families, enhancing program collaboration, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements summary
Preferred primary qualifications include an associate's or bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field, or a high school diploma with three years of relevant experience and a completed family development certificate. Candidates must possess strong computer literacy, excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and experience working with diverse, low-Income communities is preferred.
