Family Support Peer Specialist

The family support peer specialist visits client families referred by the department of children and families to assist with their basic needs and promote family stability. Responsibilities include providing education in parenting and home management, linking families with community resources, and supervising visitations between parents and children.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in home visiting. Experience working with diverse family dynamics and knowledge of health and behavioral issues is essential.
