DIRECT CARE - Independence-PART TIME

The youth counselor will provide direct care coverage for male clients aged 12-17, focusing on ensuring safety, supervision, skill building, and behavioral management through consistent reinforcement and proactive intervention. Responsibilities also include establishing therapeutic relationships, evaluating treatment impacts, providing basic needs support, safely transporting youth, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or ged, with a bachelor's degree in a human services field being preferred. Candidates should have a desire to help children succeed and prior experience working with children in school or mental health settings is preferred, alongside strong communication and basic computer skills.
