FT Bilingual SUD Counselor

The counselor will conduct educational and group sessions on required topics, acting as a group leader to control the setting, mediate interaction, and engage clients in overcoming substance abuse difficulties. Additionally, the role may involve case management, assisting clients with problems stemming from substance use, and providing necessary referrals and materials for recovery.

Candidates must be a bilingual (Spanish speaking) registered/Certified substance abuse counselor, or a registered intern upon hiring, and must be willing to travel between program locations. Desirable qualifications include experience or education in helping professions, treatment facilities, or the substance use disorder field, along with up-To-Date training in alcohol or drug abuse.
