Math Specialist

The math specialist is responsible for enhancing math instruction by leading professional development for teachers and providing targeted support to students, with a focus on english language learners. This role involves coaching staff on effective math pedagogy, promoting research-Based strategies, and analyzing student achievement data to guide instruction.

Candidates must possess a valid california clear single subject teaching credential with english learner authorization and a minimum of five years of successful full-Time mathematics teaching experience, preferably with grades 7-12 and english language learners. Demonstrated experience in instructional coaching, professional development facilitation, and knowledge of literacy development for diverse learners are also required.
