  • STATUS: PART-TIME Lake Erie College, a small, co-educational, four-year, independent liberal arts college located in Painesville, OH, 30 miles east of Cleveland, invites applications for Adjunct Faculty, English.

Responsibilities

Provides instruction at the undergraduate level using collaborative, instructional technology, and innovative methods. Teaches introductory level English composition courses. Develops syllabi and coursework in alignment with student and course learning outcomes. Provides assessment of students and supports college assessment needs. Establishes and fosters community and institutional relationships to form partnerships that will assist students with networking and job opportunities. Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES: A minimum of Master’s Degree in English or related field. Must be able to teach in person. Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts college environment. Growth mindset and institutional teamwork ethic. Creative, strategic, and thoughtful.
