Health Edu & Aging Resources Team (HEART) QP (Hybrid-NC)

The primary duty involves providing formal training and education to various community organizations serving geriatric or adult residents with mental illness and/Or dementia to build community awareness and skills. Responsibilities are heavily weighted (65%) toward in-Service training and marketing efforts targeting long-Term care facilities and community stakeholders.

Candidates must possess extensive knowledge of psychopharmacology, geriatric behavioral health needs, and nc mental health laws, along with proficiency in standard office software like powerpoint, excel, and word. Required education is either a bachelor's degree with three years of experience working with older adults with mental illness, or a master's degree in a human services field with two years of relevant experience, plus two years of training experience and qualification as a mental health professional.
