Teacher's assistant - Hampton academy

The teacher's assistant organizes and supervises students in all settings, assists with de-Escalation, arrival/Dismissal, and supports students with various curriculum tasks. This role also involves aiding physically handicapped children and participating in emergency drills and staff training.

A high school diploma is required, though an associate or bachelor's degree in an education-Related field is preferred. Candidates need one to three years of experience working with special needs children, preferably at the middle/High school level dealing with emotional or multiple disabilities.
