Youth Peer Support

The youth peer support advocate will support youth facing emotional, behavioral, substance use, or developmental challenges by helping them build life skills, set goals, and navigate services independently. This role involves sharing personal recovery stories, connecting youth with community resources, and advocating for their needs while ensuring treatment plans are person- And family-Centered.

Candidates must possess lived experience with challenges such as mental health, substance use, foster care, juvenile justice involvement, or special education, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Essential skills include strong communication, listening, relationship-Building, basic computer proficiency (Including microsoft office and ehr familiarity), and good organizational abilities.
