ELS Specialist (Pool Posting, Location To Be Determined)

The specialist will collaborate with administration and district teams to promote equitable access and accelerate social and academic english for culturally and linguistically diverse learners. Key duties include building capacity for linguistically appropriate instruction, co-Teaching with mainstream teachers, and assessing multilingual learners' performance.

Minimum qualifications require 1 to 3 years of classroom experience along with a colorado department of education teaching license and a culturally and linguistically diverse education endorsement. Candidates must possess knowledge and willingness to foster sheltered instruction and have familiarity with celp/Wida standards and colorado academic standards.
