Assistant Teacher - Head Start

The assistant teacher will collaborate with the lead teacher to plan, organize, and execute classroom programs and activities that foster the overall growth, self-Esteem, social competence, development, and safety of all children. This position involves traveling between the different head start centers operated by wcac.

Candidates must possess an associate’s degree in early childhood education, social work, human services, or a related field, with a commitment to pursuing a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. Required qualifications also include proficiency in microsoft office suite, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, a positive demeanor, and the ability to pass required background checks and medical screenings.
