Teaching Assistant II (9:30am-5:30pm)

The teaching assistant ii will assist the lead teacher in planning and providing a comprehensive learning environment for infants, toddlers, or pre-School children, assuming lead responsibilities when the lead teacher is absent. Essential functions include complying with head start performance standards, assisting with daily classroom operations, and supporting parent engagement activities.

Candidates must meet specific educational requirements based on the age group they will serve, which may include an associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field, or equivalent qualifications like a cda or para qualification status. Experience working with young children is required, and bilingualism is preferred.
