26-27 Instructional Aide (1:1)

The instructional aide will assist students with disabilities in accessing curriculum, understanding concepts, and completing assignments while collaborating with special education teachers to implement iep strategies. This role also involves supporting students with physical needs, managing behaviors according to support plans, and maintaining accurate records of student progress.

Required qualifications for this title i paraprofessional role include a high school diploma or equivalent plus two years of college (48 units) or an associate's degree or higher, or passing scores on all cbest tests, along with passing a criminal background check and obtaining a negative tb reading. Desired qualifications include bilingualism in spanish and experience working with students with moderate to severe needs.
