Teaching Assistant I - Crestwood

The teaching assistant i supports the teacher and school staff in maintaining a positive classroom environment and aids in the academic, emotional, and social growth of students. Responsibilities include providing hands-On support, assisting with lesson preparation, and monitoring student behavior.

A high school diploma or ged is required, along with a valid new york state certification as a teaching assistant level i within 6 months of hire. Candidates must also have a clean driving record and be able to work a 12-Month schedule.
