OST College Access Counselor (Immediate)

The college access counselor supports ost seniors through the postsecondary discernment process, ensuring successful applications to colleges, job training programs, and financial aid, while also overseeing evening college mentoring programming for 30-40 seniors.

Candidates must possess three years of professional experience in college counseling or related access programs, knowledge of the college access process (Cuny, suny, nys opportunity programs preferred), and a bachelor's degree. Strong understanding of challenges faced by first-Generation, black, brown, and economically-Vulnerable students is required.
