Graduate Student Practicum/Internship

The graduate student will provide professional mental health counseling to assigned clients to meet the requirements of their academic institution, which includes meeting regularly with an approved supervisor. They will also maintain all necessary records as required by the virginia board of counseling and/Or their respective academic institution.

Candidates must partner with five18 counseling to fulfill their academic institution's requirements and must obtain and maintain personal malpractice insurance compliant with state guidelines. Required knowledge includes human behavior, psychological research methods, and dsm-5 diagnosis/Treatment principles, alongside basic computer skills.
