Special Education Teacher (High School)

The special education teacher will ensure students with diverse learning needs receive individualized support by providing specifically designed instruction aligned with iep goals and facilitating expertly tailored differentiated instruction. This role also involves preparing comprehensive ieps, collaborating with general education teachers, and meticulously documenting student progress and reevaluations.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree and a valid new jersey teaching certificate with a special education endorsement, along with proof of passing the praxis tests. A deep understanding of special education law, iep development, and evidence-Based practices is required, alongside cultural sensitivity and a commitment to the school's mission.
