General Education Licensure and/or Intervention Specialist

The educator will provide academic instruction to youth with severe emotional and behavioral disturbances, focusing significantly on developing pro-Social and emotional self-Regulation skills. Duties include planning instruction aligned with ohio's learning standards, collaborating with mental health staff on treatment teams, and implementing behavior management strategies including physical restraint and de-Escalation.

Candidates should be dynamic, energetic, and creative educators, preferably licensed teachers or those working toward intervention specialist certification, who possess a ba and can obtain a substitute license. Essential characteristics include strong communication skills, high organization, trustworthiness, and comfort working with culturally diverse populations.
