Junior Sailing Instructor

Instructors will coach children aged 7-16 in sailing from beginner levels through racing, fostering a fun and safe environment while teaching safety, boat handling, and sailing theory. Key duties also include developing lesson plans, notifying students of schedule changes, and ensuring the care and maintenance of boats and the junior sailing facility.

Candidates must be at least 15 years old, possess an nj boating license, and have hands-On sailing experience, along with the physical ability to swim strongly and lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as us sailing small boat level 1, safe powerboat handling, cpr/First aid, and us sailing safesport.
