Childcare teacher assistant (Preschool room)

The assistant teacher will be responsible for assisting in the education, supervision, and care of children, which includes curriculum planning and family engagement within the ymca early learning center program. Essential functions involve implementing curriculum, supervising activities, conducting child observations, maintaining records, and ensuring program area cleanliness and safety.

Candidates must meet state clearance requirements, including fbi, child abuse history, and state police clearances, along with a health assessment and verification of 2,500 hours working with children. Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent plus experience, with specific educational credit requirements possible depending on the level of experience.
