Play place assistant (Morning shift)

The play place assistant is responsible for providing a safe, caring, and fun learning environment for young children while their parents use the ymca facilities. This includes developing positive relations, planning and implementing culturally relevant activities, and ensuring adherence to all safety and operational procedures.

Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years old and have required experience working with children aged 6 weeks to 7 years old. Successful applicants must also obtain cpr/First aid/Aed certification within 30 days and pass mandatory background checks including criminal and child abuse history clearances.
