Guidance Counselor

The guidance counselor implements a comprehensive, data-Informed program supporting academic achievement, social-Emotional growth, and college/Career readiness for all students, while promoting a positive school climate. Key duties include individual and group counseling, academic planning, standardized testing coordination, behavioral interventions, and managing student records in collaboration with various stakeholders.

A master's degree in school counseling or a related field is required, along with valid florida department of education certification in school counseling or eligibility to obtain it. Candidates must pass a level ii background screening and possess knowledge of florida graduation requirements, testing programs, and relevant frameworks like idea and mtss.
