Counselor-in-Training (14yo) First United (Lafayette, LA)

The primary function is to assist the camp director, leadership, and counselors with various summer camp duties, which includes engaging campers in all scheduled activities and assisting with supervision during meals and field trips. Responsibilities also cover reporting illnesses or injuries, assisting with dismissal procedures, and helping with camp cleaning tasks as directed.

This is a volunteer, unpaid position for individuals aged 14 who are expected to follow all handbook rules and attend mandatory pre-Camp orientations and trainings. Candidates must be physically and mentally capable of working in destination-Based facilities and should possess experience working with children, a willingness to be fully engaged, and strong problem-Solving abilities.
