Core responsibilities
As a registered behavior technician, you will implement applied behavior analysis (Aba) therapy techniques one-On-One with children with autism to help them develop essential skills like communication, independence, and social interaction. Responsibilities include engaging children in structured learning, implementing behavior intervention strategies under supervision, and meticulously tracking progress data.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old; experience working with children, especially those with developmental disabilities, is highly preferred. A strong work ethic, professionalism, patience, and reliable transportation for travel between client homes are mandatory requirements.
